WomenforGrowth is a 501(c)(3) organization.

Mission: WomenforGrowth assists businesses, cooperatives, and social enterprises that are committed to actively engage women in all aspects of community building. The organization promotes sustainable approaches that enable the women to overcome their economic, social, and environmental challenges by mobilizing vital resources and engaging local communities.

Vision: We envision a world where women come together to provide sustainable economic and social opportunities for themselves and their local communities regardless of social, cultural, and geographical divisions.

Purpose: we collaborate with national and international stakeholders to reduce poverty and inequality for women and their communities. We do this by engaging women's groups, local businesses, United Nations agencies, local governments, and NGOs. We research and develop innovative and sustainable approaches which empower women to address economic, social, and environmental challenges. We seek sustainable and local initiatives that share our values and objectives and we assist them to expand their local initiatives.

WomenforGrowth operates on these principles:

• Sharing knowledge, skills, and resources among social enterprises to improve socioeconomic conditions of women and their communities.
• Encouraging social entrepreneurship and innovation among women, businesses, and communities leading to self-sufficiency.
• Examining and adopting less-donor dependent approaches to promote sustainability of the programs and to expand services to benefit communities.
• Building on and strengthening community, government and nongovernmental programs capacity.
